Kizzie-Gillett is the Founder, President, and Lead Architect of The Crown Readiness Institute™, a research and professional education institute dedicated to helping organizations recognize human vulnerability before crisis and build systems that strengthen dignity, resilience, and organizational readiness.<br/><br/>Her work brings together public health, leadership, organizational learning, implementation science, community engagement, and professional education to help institutions prepare their people—not just their policies—for the human realities they encounter every day.<br/><br/>The Institute's work is organized around three interconnected pillars:<br/>• Research<br/>• Professional Education<br/>• Implementation<br/><br/>Together, these pillars support organizations in developing practical strategies that improve readiness, strengthen workforce confidence, and foster environments where people can respond thoughtfully before challenges escalate into crises.<br/><br/>Constance's professional experience spans public health research, higher education, civic leadership, community partnerships, and organizational development. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with universities, healthcare organizations, government agencies, faith communities, and nonprofit organizations to improve leadership capacity, community engagement, and human-centered systems.<br/><br/>She has served in leadership and advisory roles with respected institutions and national initiatives, including community-engaged public health research, implementation projects, leadership development, and workforce education. Her work has consistently focused on translating research into practical tools that organizations can use to improve outcomes for the people they serve.<br/><br/>The inspiration for The Crown Readiness Institute, however, began much earlier.<br/><br/>For nearly a decade, Constance served as the primary caregiver for her mother, whose journey with dementia profoundly shaped her understanding of human vulnerability, family resilience, and the importance of recognizing changes before they become crises. That experience transformed her perspective on leadership, institutions, and the ways organizations interact with people during life's most vulnerable moments.<br/><br/>Rather than viewing caregiving as a private experience, she recognized it as a powerful teacher—one that revealed how often systems overlook early signs of need and how much difference thoughtful recognition and compassionate response can make.<br/><br/>Those lessons became the foundation for the Institute's signature framework:<br/>Human Readiness Before Crisis™<br/><br/>From that foundation, Constance developed additional concepts that continue to shape the Institute's work, including Early Capacity™, Human Infrastructure™, Dignity-Centered Systems Readiness™, and the operational doctrine:<br/>NOTICE • ENGAGE • GUIDE • PROTECT™<br/><br/>Today, through research, education, and implementation partnerships, Constance works with organizations seeking to strengthen leadership, improve organizational readiness, and build systems that recognize the human dimension of every mission.<br/><br/>She believes that resilient organizations are built not only through effective operations, but through the ability to recognize people with dignity, respond with purpose, and prepare before crisis demands it.<br/><br/>"Preparing People.
